OSCAR 2016 - NOMINATIONS



Le nomination per gli Oscar sono state annunciate nel primo pomeriggio del 14 gennaio (quando a Hollywood erano le 5 e 30 del mattino). La cerimonia di premiazione sarà il 28 febbraio al Dolby Theatre di Los Angeles e sarà condotta dall’attore e comico Chris Rock, che ha già condotto la 77esima edizione degli Oscar. I premi Oscar sono divisi in 24 categorie e sono assegnati dall’Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (Academy, in breve), un’organizzazione composta da persone che fanno parte di ogni ruolo del cinema (registi, attori, direttori della fotografia, costumisti e così via).
I membri dell’Academy che votano per gli Oscar (e, prima, per decidere le candidature agli Oscar) sono circa seimila. Per decidere le nomination i membri di ogni ruolo votano i candidati per le rispettive categorie (i direttori della fotografia votano per la miglior fotografia, per esempio). I candidati per il miglior film sono invece votati da tutti i membri dell’Academy.
